Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Priconvert, including the website, browser-based image converter, accounts, and subscription features. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Priconvert provides tools to convert images between common formats in your web browser. In the current converter, image files are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded to Priconvert for conversion.

We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. Service availability is not guaranteed and may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

Some features require a Priconvert account through Clerk. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Free plan. Includes browser-based image conversion with a daily usage limit of 5 conversions per day for anonymous users (tracked in localStorage) and signed-in free users (tracked on our servers), unless otherwise stated on the site.

Pro plan. Provides unlimited daily conversions for active subscribers, billed at $5/month through Stripe on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled. Pro features and limits may evolve as the product develops.

Pro subscriptions are sold and managed through Stripe Checkout and the Stripe Customer Portal. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges at the then-current price unless you cancel before renewal.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal available from your account when Pro is active. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically entitle you to refunds for prior billing periods except as described in our Refund Policy or as required by law.

You agree not to:

• Use Priconvert for unlawful, harmful, or infringing purposes.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or scrape the service except where permitted by law.
• Attack, probe, or overload the service (including denial-of-service attempts).
• Circumvent usage limits, authentication, or billing controls.
• Upload malware or use the service to distribute harmful code (where applicable).
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms or poses risk to the service or other users.

You retain ownership of images and files you process with Priconvert. Because conversion currently runs locally in your browser, you control what files are selected on your device. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to process and download those files.

Priconvert is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements. Conversion results may vary depending on your browser, device, and source files.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Priconvert and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Priconvert in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Priconvert and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
