Privacy Policy

Priconvert is a browser-based image converter and subscription service operated at priconvert.com. We aim to be clear about what happens on your device versus what we store on our systems.

In the current image converter, files you select are processed locally in your web browser using client-side code. Those image files are not uploaded to Priconvert servers for conversion.

Because processing happens on your device, we do not receive the contents of your images through the converter itself. You remain responsible for the files you choose to process and download.

Depending on how you use Priconvert, we may process:

• Account information from Clerk, such as your email address and user ID, when you create or sign in to an account.
• Subscription and billing identifiers from Stripe, such as customer and subscription IDs, plan status, and billing period information. Priconvert does not store your full payment card details.
• Usage data for signed-in users, including a daily conversion count stored in Supabase to enforce free-plan limits or reflect Pro access.
• Technical data needed to operate the service, such as request logs, error reports, and basic device or browser information collected by our hosting and infrastructure providers.

If you use the converter without signing in, Priconvert stores a daily conversion count in your browser's localStorage to enforce the free daily limit (5 conversions per day). This data stays on your device unless you clear site data or use another browser.

When you sign in, server-side usage tracking may apply to your account instead of or in addition to local browser storage, depending on your session.

Payments for Priconvert Pro ($5/month) are processed by Stripe. When you subscribe, Stripe handles payment collection and stores payment method details according to Stripe's policies. Priconvert receives billing-related identifiers and subscription status needed to provide Pro access.

We rely on trusted providers to run Priconvert:

• Clerk — authentication and account management.
• Supabase — database storage for profiles, usage counts, and subscription records.
• Stripe — payments, subscriptions, checkout, and customer billing portal.
• Vercel — application hosting and delivery.

These providers process data on our behalf according to their own terms and privacy policies. We configure them only for the features Priconvert uses.

• Provide and maintain the converter, accounts, and subscriptions.
• Enforce free and Pro plan limits.
• Process payments and manage billing through Stripe.
• Respond to support requests and service issues.
• Improve reliability, security, and performance of the service.
• Comply with legal obligations where applicable.

We retain account, usage, and subscription information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal requirements. You may request account deletion by contacting us; some billing records may be retained by Stripe or as required by law.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal information, or to object to some uses. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate for an MVP SaaS product, including reputable infrastructure providers and access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and you should use strong account credentials and keep your devices updated.

Priconvert is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date when we do. Continued use of Priconvert after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
